Soy Aquel Hijo Pródigo
              (Con introducción)
Soy aquel Hijo Pródigo
Que vengo ante tus plantas,
A confesar mis faltas,
A implorar tu perdón;
Yo soy aquel perdido
Que he sido la deshonra,
Pero que desde ahora
Rindo mi corazón.

Retorno del camino
Cansado y harapiento,
Hoy lloro y me arrepiento,
Pues sé que te ofendí;
Hoy triste y abatido,
Y lleno de vergüenza,
Estoy en tu presencia,
Ten compasión de mí.

Tú sales a mi encuentro,
Me abrazas compasivo,
Y adviertes que he sufrido
A causa de mi error;
Y ordenas al momento,
Que en vez de mi castigo,
Que se me dé un vestido
De gracia por tu amor.

Y dices, que haya fiesta,
Calzadle y dadle abrigo,
Este Hijo era el perdido
Que ha vuelto al hogar;
Hoy me uniré a la orquesta.
Y entonaré los himnos
Por siempre y por los siglos,
Y no saldré jamás.

                   Testimonio

This song was sung by Brothers Lopez, two siblings, that were born blind in Mexico. They learned how to play the guitar and sing. According to their testimony, God healed their blindness and they began to perform at night clubs and got away from the Lord. They said that when the Lord returned their blindness they dedicated the rest of their lives touring and singing the Lord's praises throughout the Apostolic churches in Mexico and parts of the U.S. They may have been physically blind, but their singing and playing indicated that they had a great spiritual vision. I had the privilege of learning a few of their moves on the guitar. I will attempt to record some of them when I record some of the other songs that they sang.
